Welcome to Louise Arbour French Immersion Public School

Our school was officially named on June 10, 2014. As you may know Louise Arbour is president and chief executive officer of the International Crisis Group, has served as UN high commissioner for human rights and has been a justice of the Supreme Court of Canada among numerous other accomplishments. We are proud to have such an admirable namesake.

French Immersion is an area of significant growth. Second language learning cultivates an appreciation for diversity; often an enhanced understanding of global issues is also nurtured. We are looking forward to building a strong French Immersion community within our school and beyond.

Our School Hours are:

8:15-9:55 - Block 1 Instructional Time

9:55-10:35 - Nutrition Break

10:35-12:15 - Block 2 Instructional Time

12:15-1:05 - Nutrition Break

1:05-2:45 - Block 3 Instructional Time
